Could we get a vendor mode
Being used to the EQ, EQII and SWG worlds, I find vendor modes quite useful in reducing the spam and downtime in gaming. Is there any chance we could see a bazaar or vendor mode in the future for GW?

that would be sweet, but theen how many people would actually play the game and do quests and stuff, it would turn into an ebay simulator

shadowdaemon is right if it is improperly implemented but I know that the auction house in FF seemed to work pretty well.

Auction House good - vendor mode BAD. I will tell you why it is bad. Imagine if you would, a good 30% of the players of GW setting up shop right by the crafter in Ascalon, all with their spam shop titles displayed. This is how it works in ROSE Online and trust me, it is HIGHLY annoying when everyone and their mother's cousin opens a shop smack dab by important other shops like the crafter, etc. Not only can't you see your intended target, but you have shop title spam on top of it all, and you can't just tick a checkmark to make it disappear.
So yes, I am for an Auction House, but AGAINST player vendor mode. |
